Randy’s caffeine-fueled 3-string creations start their journey in the imagination of a creative, but somewhat obsessive compulsive mind that delights in tinkering with anything mechanical, whether its an old car, a motorcycle, or figuring out how to use his recently acquired tools. With the help of large amounts of coffee, and a driving need to be creative, Randy builds unique 3-string cigar box guitars in both electric and acoustic configurations. Randy is an award-winning Graphic Designer and Illustrator with over 40 years experience, and has found that his professional career as a creative, dovetails nicely into his passion for woodworking, and specifically his love for building cigar box guitars. Randy has learned through experience that the voices in his head aren’t real, but they are an endless supply of pretty good ideas.
